Recipe From: Wil Graham
1 28oz can of crushed tomatoes
1 4oz can of green chilies, slightly drained
1.5 inch slice of cucumber
small handful of fresh cilantro
4 green onions trimmed to about 5 inches in length
2 cloves of garlic, the bigger the better ;)
juice from half a lime
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Lawry's garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon Lawry's garlic pepper
1/8 teaspoon black pepper (3 grinds on a very fine setting)
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (less if you want it really mild)
Chop all fresh ingredients and green chilies by hand (I use one of those KitchenAid hand choppers, except for the green onions, I slice those with a knife). Mix it all together really well and serve! This makes about one quart of salsa and it keeps in the refrigerator for at least 3 weeks (if it lasts that long!).
